The game counters that you see in the photos on this website are all mounted on wooden squares, 3/4" square. They are thick, sturdy and I wish I had something like this back when I was playing my favorite board games decades ago.
Richard mounted my set of counters for me, and he thought some of you might be interested in obtaining these counters. This website below is the page from which he ordered, pretty cheap he said---and I know they look great.
